Doesn't appear to be many.
If you... Exclude all the PvE content candidates... Exclude all the people who say "we're all unhappy with eve and we'll change it...." without even hinting at how... Exclude Mintrollo because.... obviously.
it leaves pretty much just Seleene and The Mittani. Maybe Alekseyev Karrde, but he's relatively unheard of.
Are these the only options we have?
Most of the candidates just say crap like:
"Vincent Athena" wrote:My goal is to find solutions to issues that help everyone, no matter what part of the game you play or
"Korvin" wrote:Vote for the good game balance!
Vote for only finished game features!
Vote for our clear future in game! How about a vote for a clear campaign platform? Seriously.
Personally, i want someone who will focus CCP on the PvP. - Expanding PvP Options / Opportunities - Introduce and/or fix forced-pvp mechanics (Pos/Poco and stuff like that) - New mechanics to encourage/push more players into PvP situations
In the not-so-pvp things that i'm interested in: - Newbie's 'first steps'. Many newbs quit eve, this needs to change. - Overview settings are still overly messy and confusing. - Eve <> Dust interactivity. I really hope CCP goes all-out on this, and doesn't take the ***** road. I want to see heavy Dust integration -Continue cleaning up 'the little things' (CCP has done an amazing job at this in crucible, i want it to continue)
Who should a PvP'er vote for? Some of these other candidates must have more detailed plan then just "we'll fix it all!" |

Fair enough, but just sayingQuote:My goal is to find solutions to issues that help everyone, no matter what part of the game you play Still gives you no idea what he does in game / What he stands for
They need clear platform otherwise they say vague **** and nobody knows what he stands for. How am i to know if he'll react to CCP's ideas in the way i would?
Its still important to have a clear campaign platform. |

Based on your concerns, I think you should vote for Dovinian. His "Ship balancing" stuff is what scares me. He doesnt really go into detail about it, just says "ships need to be changed" Personally i want to see titans get their ability to DD subcaps restored. I realize thats not going to happen, but i see more threads discussing further titan nerfs and that combined with this vague "balance chips" makes me wary
The Mittani wrote:Well, if you want rapid and full-scale DUST integration, you shouldn't vote for me; I think it should be handled carefully and in baby steps, because I flat out don't trust anything produced during CCP's period of irrational exuberance.
Basically everyone supports 'more little things' and 'better UI', that's like saying the sky is blue.
Most nullsec candidates are hardcore PvP guys.
hth~ Tbh i see Dust as mainly just interacting with the PI ****. PI is relatively new and i've always expected it to drastically change. I wouldn't mind watching CCP destroy PI several times trying to get it right. |

Fon Revedhort seems like another good choice.
I like his small gang / casual gaming position. I know several people who login a few times a week and rarely see action because they don't dedicate 5 hours a day to waiting for it |

Not so sure about that, but even if it is, it just adds to the depth of the game, gives it something else interesting to do. And they give a bunch of people free trip to iceland =P |
